Current mood: rejuvenated

Week 2 of the Boulder Quest Center. I feel like I'm settling in, things are getting more organized and we're developing work patterns. I also get to eat A LOT! And I'm still losing weight. I'll have to be careful but it's nice to not have to watch every bite. I have set up a running schedule for M, Th, and Sat. That means on Th I'll teach 2 cardio classes and run in the evening. I also need to start hitting the gym in the am so that I can lift weights. I really love lifting which is suprising cuz I didn't used to like it. But now it makes me feel really strong and connected to my body. I am also finishing up my Reiki Master's course and starting my ACE group fitness instructor certification. I have decided to take this semster off from Naropa--too much money, too little time. I may decided to apprentice with a Vision Quest school, however, as this has become a strong interest of mine. We also had the house cleaners in today and the house looks so much better. Every month we think, do we really need this and every month we think, shit yeah!

Ahhhhh! This is like the retreat you did for school - Very cool! I think you have the perfect personality and connection with it to be able to guide people through their own journeys. Excellent!

Yes, exactly! Thanks for the compliment--I think it would be really cool to offer to people because so often we think that connection with the land means a disconnect with society and that's really not true. Also, I think knowing your own resilience is a vital skill for the uncertain world.
